Monthsary is Pay Day

It’s Friday night and I’ve been wanting to get out and give my frazzled brain some diversion. Hubby arrived from work looking so ironically jovial. It was bloody sweltry so I took a bath and went directly upstairs to our room. I was flabbergasted by what I saw — a bouquet of red roses lying on our bed waiting for that “smell-me” moment. What’s the occasion? I browsed my phone calendar, it’s March 30 — PAY DAY. No!! It’s our freakin’ monthsary!!!! Waaaaahhh!!! and I totally forgot about it!  My bad.

Even that we’re married we still find time to celebrate monthsaries. That’s the convenience when your monthsary falls exactly on pay day. We can just drive our way to the bank, pay the bills, go to the grocery and watch a movie or have dinner together.

To my hubby — you never failed to surprise me. No relationship is perfect but we still manage to turn our childish arguments into a moment of surprise and pure affection.. I love you..
